Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Create patterns and mock-ups from preliminary design sketches or ideas using 3D software.
• Apply surface design details, such as colours, fabrics, graphics and prints to 3D garments.
• Integrate the 3D design process with the existing product development and production process.
• Identify opportunities to reduce sampling through the use of 3D technology.
• Research and present design and creative concepts.
• Create and maintain product specs and advanced construction instructions.
• Interact with Merchandisers to receive & provide feedback & understand the requirements of the styles.
• Collaborate with Designers and Product Developers to create mock-up samples and communicate fit updates to factories.
• Measure patterns and samples for accuracy in development and production approval.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills as well as have basic knowledge of garment construction, silhouettes, colour ways, sewing techniques, fabrication and trim.
• Proficient/Experience in 3D Apparel Design Software (Browzewear).
• Working knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Other certifications relating to the use of 3D design software and processes will also be considered.
