The Faculty of Engineering at SLUT has more than 90 staff and a growing cohort of undergraduate and postgraduate students. We are looking for talented, enthusiastic and committed individuals for the following positions in the Department of Civil Engineering. Applicants should be registered or eligible for registration with the Institution of Engineers of Sri Lanka. Excellent communication skills are required.
LECTURER (TENURE-TRACK) /
ASSISTANT LECTURER (TEMPORARY)
Applicants must hold a 1 st or 2nd class honors bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a pass in bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a one-year master's degree in a relevant specialization. Applicants for Lecturer (Tenure-Track) must have at least one year of work experience after graduation and good evidence of research output.
INSTRUCTORS (TEMPORARY)
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.

SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER (TENURE-TRACK) /ASSISTANT LECTURER (TEMPORARY)
A 1st or 2nd class honours bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering and a 2-year research-based master's degree is required for the Senior Lecturer position. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years work experience after the undergraduate degree. Those with a doctoral degree will be considered for Senior Lecturer (Higher Grade).
A 1st or 2nd class honors bachelor's degree or a pass in bachelor's degree with one-year master's degree is required for Lecturer (Tenure-Track) / Assistant Lecturer (Temporary) positions. Applicants for Lecturer (Tenure-Track) must have a minimum of one year work experience after graduation.
INSTRUCTORS (TEMPORARY)
Seeking energetic, self-motivated, and dynamic individuals who have completed their bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, obtaining a CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
